What would be My role in ACT?
Dive into and grasp our well-structured legacy testing frameworks. We currently use Perfecto, Cucumber/Gherkin.
Develop and enhance testing strategies to ensure the scalability and robustness of the ACT shopping app, while finding the optimal balance prioritizing the amount of confidence each test provides relative to the time and effort invested in keeping it accurate
Streamline the testing pipeline through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
Innovate new testing methods and best practices to ensure seamless user experiences.
Play a vital role in launching the next major versions of the ACT shopping app that are destined to make waves globally.
Be part of our big launch targeting the expansive European market.
Collaborate closely with both the backend and frontend teams, guaranteeing a harmonized, high-performing, and top-quality solution.
What skills do I need to accomplish this?
3-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably with mobile apps.
Deep knowledge of TDD, CI, and CD.
Experience with Scrum-based development.
A significant advantage if you have experience in:
DevOps, Linux commands/batch scripting.
Understanding of RDF-based Graph databases and scalability challenges.
Insights into development and production pipeline telemetry.
Knowledge of feature switching and trunk-based development.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes.
